We want to let you know that the 8/23 Caravan & Teach-In at Alligator Alcatraz has been cancelled. All ticket purchases have already been refunded.

With a federal judge expected to issue a ruling on 8/21, and the possibility of an immediate appeal or shutdown of the camp, we felt it was important to respect the Miccosukee Tribe’s sovereignty and their role as plaintiffs in the case. Our goal has always been to honor the Tribe through education, and that intent remains — but we will not take any action that could jeopardize their legal fight.

We are planning to reschedule the caravan/educational event at a later date, and we will keep you posted with updates both on the case and on the new event date.
