Human Rights in the Americas Symposium Nov 16-21
Americans for Immigrant Justice is a co-sponsor of the upcoming symposium Human Rights in the Americas: An Examination of Past, Present, and Future, taking place the week of November 16–21 at the University of Miami Lakeside Village.
Americans for Immigrant Justice Executive Director, Sui Chung, will serve as moderator on Monday, November 17, for a discussion following the screening of two compelling films by Americans for Immigrant Justice Honorary Board member Alexandra Codina: Paper Children and En Manos de Dios.
The symposium is being held alongside the official hearings conducted by the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR). This impactful week is being hosted by the University of Miami School of Law, Human Rights Program, and the IACHR.
