Talk to the Seven (who were punished by FIU for opposing ICE)
September 23 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
A TOWN HALL hosted by ICEBREAKERS and FIU DREAM DEFENDERS
FIU under Politician/President Janet Nuñez disciplined seven students for engaging in a silent, peaceful, and non-disruptive protest against ICE on the FIU campus. The students have received a temporary injunction on First Amendment grounds.
ICE is still on campus in the form of a 287g agreement, so the fight is not over.
Join us on Wednesday, 23 Sept at 6:30 pm, in PG6 116 (westernmost parking garage on SW 8th St) to speak with the seven students and their legal team about their experience so far and the future of our campaigns to GET ICE OFF FIU.
