Groups in LA and Chicago are resisting ICE raids by passing out whistles and using them to warn vulnerable populations. Whistle holders are being trained in a simple code: Short bursts to alert that immigration agents are in the area and one sustained note to flag an imminent arrest. Let’s do the same here in the 305!
